As an Off Site Engineer you will be required to support the project management team and help to deliver projects to time, cost and quality through various phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Planners/Senior Planners are expected to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of construction operations for a particular project, in conjunction with site management. Planning and overseeing the entire programme of work, anticipating a contract’s demands in terms of labour, materials, equipment and technical challenges.

As Principal Civil/Structural Engineers you will have responsibility, authority and accountability for the successful execution of all civil and structural engineering activities on projects to which you are assigned within the boundaries defined by, or as delegated by the Engineering Director.
As Principal Civil/Structural Engineer you must manage projects, civil/structural staff and/or civil/structural engineering subcontracts in a safe and productive manner, deliver projects or packages on time, in line with all contract specifications, achieve full client satisfaction and meet all quality and commercial key performance indicators (KPI’s), whilst maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues.
As a Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for all aspects of commercial management of a project. Working closely with the project manager, you will ensure the commercial systems and processes are implemented to provide robust change and cost control on your project, thereby protecting the project margin.
As a Cost Clerk you will be responsible for providing cost control and support to the commercial lead and site team.
This role will require you to collect, analyse, summaries and evaluate costs to maximise the contract margins and cash collection in turn maximising the business profits.
You will also be responsible for undertaking any Document Control duties that are required on site.
As a Design Engineer you will have responsibility for successful execution of all civil and structural engineering activities on projects.
You will also be expected to work in a design office environment, whilst providing working design solutions to technical problems with the minimum of supervision.
As a Building & Civil Engineering Estimator within the Spencer Group you will be required to provide cost estimate for any Groundworks and Building Constructions tenders/projects.
As an Electrical Estimator within the Spencer Group you will be required to provide cost estimates for work projects.
