As a Principal Designer (CDM) you will be responsible for undertaking the duties on a variety of projects from tender stage through to client handover. You will support the design and project delivery teams in delivering high-quality work, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards safely and to budget.

Responsibilities 

• Undertaking site visits to develop an understanding of the construction site and site constraints.
• Meeting with clients and designers to communicate the requirements of the CDM Regulations.
• Understanding of the design process of multi-disciplinary design teams and have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Arranging and attending design team meetings.
• Reviewing Designer Risk Assessments.
• Produce the Pre-Construction Information Document.
• Record design change and monitor residual risk registers
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure coordinated designs.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and quality in all work
