As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business by managing leads and inquiries through to sale, using a CRM system to track and nurture prospects. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role is critical to our growth strategy, and we are seeking someone with strong sales acumen and a passion for SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Handle inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and manage the sales pipeline using our CRM system, HubSpot.
  • Sales Process: Nurture prospects from initial contact through to closing the sale, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities by researching potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored SaaS solutions.
  • Target Achievement: Work towards individual and team sales targets, regularly reviewing performance against goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS product, its features, and how it addresses client pain points.
  • Reporting: Regularly update CRM records, provide sales forecasts, and report on progress towards targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer success, and product teams to align efforts and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for managing leads and tracking sales activity.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS market and its trends is a plus.
