Responsibilities
- Manage operational aspects of a project and scope
- Work closely with the commercial team to ensure tender margin protection, by adopting a ‘right first time’ approach to delivery
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
- Minimise company exposure and risk on project
- Engage with Company processes and client liaison during the tender, design, procurement and delivery stages of a project
- Ensure safety and high quality at all times
Requirements and Qualifications
Person Specification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to lead by example, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles
- Competent in the use of IT functions
- Good knowledge of current market conditions
- Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
- Extensive management and leadership skills, with a passion for quality
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have relevant (HNC or equivalent) professional/vocational qualifications
- Significant demonstrable experience in relevant industry sectors
