Job Title: Civils Project Manager (Pre-Construction)

As a Civils Project Manager, you will be working on the Pre-Construction stages of projects and be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, control and completion of specific projects ensuring compliance with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Responsibilities
- Assist Civils Estimators with take-off drawings, producing subcontract and materials enquiries
- Input Civils pricing on individual tenders to support the Civils Estimator & Commercial Manager
- Work with the bid team to agree an optimum buildability/methodology and identify risks and opportunities
- Assist in ensuring risks are identified, regularly reviewed and updated
- Liaise with tender stage planner and delivery teams
- Support and attend site visits as and when necessary
- Engage with the supply chain
Requirements and Qualifications
Person Specification
- An interest in Estimating/Pre-Construction off-site role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to lead by example, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
Qualifications
- Relevant Industry qualification or significant demonstrable site experience, for example of working in a Civils Site Agent/Project
- Manager role for a minimum of 5 years
- Knowledge of the Estimating/Tendering process
- Demonstrable experience of use of all Microsoft Office packages to a high standard
