As an experienced Administrative Assistant you will be expected to work as part of a team to provide support to various departments across the business.

Responsibilities
- Dealing with internal and external correspondence
- Updating and creating word documents, such as tender submissions, employee CVs, letters, presentations and reports
- Taking notes and actions in meetings
- Updating and creating excel spreadsheets, such as project trackers
- Updating information on computer databases
- Using office equipment, such as printers, scanners and photocopiers
- Setting up and maintaining filing systems
- Assisting colleagues as necessary
- Deal with queries from clients
- Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements and Qualifications
Person Specification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of managing multiple, complex and time sensitive tasks/activities
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Strong numeracy and IT skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Ability to be discreet and tactful
- Ability to be courteous but firm when dealing with difficult customers
- Efficient, well organised and self-motivated
- Confident when using a computer and office equipment
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Significant previous experience of working in an administration role
- Experience of working for a Construction/Engineering company is desirable but not essential
