Location: Humber Quays office, Hull
Hours: 40 hours per week
As Senior IT Services Analyst, you will Working as a member of a busy I.T. Support team to provide 2nd line support to local and remote users in a multi-location construction company.Responsibilities

  • Investigate, Design and implement I.T. Solutions to corporate requirements and train 1st line technicians to support those solutions. Respond to escalated incidents and problems
  • Using ITIL3 methodologies to continually improve the level of service provided to the company by implementing Service Design, transition and operation
  • Involvement in and adherence to team’s standards and processes to implement Continual Service Improvement
  • Undertake project work as required planning own work to meet required deadlines and timescales
  • Maintaining and support the company’s internal IT systems to achieve best possible availability in line with SLAs

Requirements and Qualifications

Person Specification

  • Experience in and understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, cabling, WiFi, switches, routers etc. Cisco and Unifi experience a definite advantage
  • Understanding of computer operating systems (Windows / Linux / Apple), Active Directory, Virtualisation and application packages (Office / Accounts / Planning)
  • Able to research problems using a variety of sources (internet / technical documentation etc.) and implement solutions following laid down, structured Change Control Procedures
  • A Logical approach to problem solving is essential
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all levels in a positive and friendly manner both verbally and in writing
  • Time management skills to manage own workloads ensuring deadlines and SLA targets are met

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 GCSE grades (or equivalent) at A-C level, including Maths and English
  • A relevant IT accreditation or qualification at GCSE level or above
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Computer related qualification at degree or HNC level would be beneficial but not essential
