As a Graduate Engineer you will have exciting opportunities to be coached and mentored by technical experts in many areas of Multi-disciplinary Engineering. Based both on site and in our prestigious Head Office, you will gain practical, hands on experience in Work Winning, Planning, Design and all aspects of on and off–site Engineering.

Specifically we would expect you to have the following responsibilities;


  • Being a role model for all safety, health, environment and quality issues
  • Quality Assurance – ensuring quality in all aspects of the project
  • Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
  • Checking plans, designs and quantities for accuracy of calculations
  • Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
  • Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, project surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
  • Supervising others and monitoring the work of any subcontractors
  • Planning the work and efficiently maintaining plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
  • Preparing reports as required
  • Research assignments in Work Winning

Requirements and Qualifications

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to lead by example, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Passionate about promoting health and safety in the workplace
  • Comprehensive understanding of all Microsoft packages and AutoCAD
  • Full UK driving licence as extensive travel throughout the UK will be required
  • Membership of ICE/IStructE/IMechE or a similar Professional Institution would be beneficial

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant 2:1 or 1:1 Engineering Degree (Hons) or Equivalent Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working in a similar position is desirable but not essential
