Job Title: Business Administration Apprentice
Location: Hull, Humber Quays office

Salary: £11,400 per annum

As a Business Administration Apprentice you will be expected to work as part of an administrative team to provide support to your designated department.

You will also be responsible for covering the main Reception where you will be required to supply information regarding the organisation to the general public, clients and employees. You will also be required to attend to visitors and deal with enquiries on the phone and face to face.

  • Dealing with internal and external correspondence
  • Word processing documents, such as letters, presentations and reports
  • Using office equipment, such as printers, scanners and photocopiers
  • Setting up and maintaining filing systems
  • Updating information on computer databases
  • Answering the telephone and directing calls
  • Assisting colleagues as necessary
  • Answer main telephone, screen and direct calls
  • Take and relay messages
  • Provide information to callers
  • Greet persons entering Spencer Group
  • Direct persons to correct destination
  • Deal with queries from clients
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of Spencer Group
  • Receive and process mail and deliveries
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good GCSE grades A-C in Maths & English (or equivalent)
  • Experience is desirable but not essential
