Administrative Assistant / Document Controller

Duration: Fixed Term up to 12 months
Location: Cambridge
Team: Operations
Salary: Up to £35k per annum depending on skills & experience

As Administrative Assistant/Document Controller you will be responsible for providing administrative support to Site.

This role will be site based.

 

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the site and assistant colleagues in all aspects of administration
  • Completing site deliverables, processing invoices and uploading to an online system
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents
  • Implement and maintain office systems, databases and electronic information systems
  • Maintain, manage and distribute site documentation
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to answer enquiries and provide information
  • Ensuring regulatory procedures and changes are followed
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Person Specification

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently or within team, whilst showing clear attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative
  • Confident when using a computer and office equipment
  • Flexible approach

Qualifications & Experience

Good GSCE grades at A-C level, with demonstrable experience in a relevant position.

Or

NVQ level 2 Business and Administration, with a minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a relevant position.
